Today's Fun Fact:
WBRS, the Brandeis Radio Service, began broadcasting as the WLDB Radio
Club in late 1959... In the beginning, WBRS was a classical to jazz
station, broadcasting mainly on weekdays. What a long way we've
come. Sure, we still showcase classical and jazz, but we pride
ourselves on being an all-genre station, operating 24 hours a day, 365
days a year. In 1959, due to limited budget, WBRS was severely
limited, but their dedicated station members pushed forward, devoting
lots of time and effort... maybe not that much has changed after
all.
