Program Guide

There are a zillion things going on at WBRS every day. There's too much for one person to keep track of... Briana Campbell gives the low down on how we

Show Our Stuff

WBRS is one of the coolest things about the Brandeis campus. It's one of the coolest things about the Waltham community. It's diverse. It's happening. It's fun. From Beethoven to breakbeat, from Dr. Seuss to Dr. Dre, WBRS has something for everyone. And it's the job of the publicity department to let you, the listener, know all about it.

Join the publicity department at WBRS and find out exactly what's going on at the station. You'll learn how things tick by being on the inside track. You'll have a lot of fun doing it. I promise. If you think this sounds like a gig you'd like (that is, working with nifty people doing fun, radio-related promotions and publicity) then call 736-4759 and let us know what's up. We're all about promotion: the lollipops, pens and stickers that first-year students receive during Orientation; the snazzy t-shirts you see on all the coolest people; the posters all around, telling you what's happening tonight on "The Joint" or next week on "Open Lines"... Hey, even this Program Guide. That's all us.

Publicity is ideas, and we want yours. An hour long brainstorm session for the station logo isn't any good with just a couple of people sitting around the Winer Wing. It can, however, be a lot of fun with a whole bunch of people. And productive, too. (What good is a non-productive department, huh?) Imagine a big group of people all throwing around ideas. How can we go wrong? The diversity of the station is reflected in the diversity of its departments. The publicity department is down with all that. We need to show everyone that WBRS is cool--no matter what you dig. Because, hey... it is.
