The WBRS Spring Program WBRS is a student and community run, non-commercial radio station benefiting Brandeis and the Waltham community. We have broadcast for twenty-six years without the benefit of faculty overseers and we're doing just fine. The WBRS staff is comprised of the students of Brandeis University and members of the local community. Non-profit and non-commercial, we do it all ourselves.
If you are enthusiastic and cooperative, communicate this spirit over the Brandeis airwaves. WBRS is a great place to get involved on campus. We are the voice of the university. We can be heard not only in Waltham, but also throughout the greater Boston area.
Our diverse music library houses something for everyone. Along the same lines, there is a department for everyone. Because we focus on student interests and concerns and because we want all of our members to enjoy being a part of the station, WBRS offers many exciting ways to participate. It is easy to learn and simple to get involved in any or all of the departments. There's no law that says because you're a member of a radio station that you must be a DJ. Where are you most talented? At WBRS you are free to try your hand at News, Arts, Publicity, Business, Tech, Music, Programming, Special Productions, Sports, Public Service, or Personnel. Develop a variety of skills and find out what you enjoy.
WBRS understands students, because, for the most part, we are students. We also recognize that everyone's voice counts. Join the WBRS family and voice your individual concerns. Be a part of the team that has something for everyone.
