Sports Department

WBRS Sports is the broadcast home of all Brandeis University Athletic Events and consists of a variety of weekly talk shows. Members of our executive board also serve as the Public Address Announcer, Commentators, and Play-By-Play Announcers at numerous events! 

We also cover professional sports, having obtained Media Credentials to MLB games at Shea Stadium, Citi Field, and Fenway Park. In 2012, we also covered the Roma/Liverpool Soccer Match at Fenway Park. Moreover, we covered Super Bowl LVII live from Radio Row in Phoenix, Arizona and the MIT Sports Analytics Conference in March 2023. 

Over the years, WBRS Sports has conducted various feature guest interviews with athletes, coaches, journalists. NBA Forward Langston Galloway, former NFL Safety and Super Bowl 50 Champion TJ Ward, former Houston Rockets Mike D’Antoni, and Chris Myers of the NFL on FOX, among others have joined our shows.
